"A. C. Stone, an old citizen of Livingston County, died at his home near Ludlow Friday after an illness of Bright's disease and stomach trouble. He had been afflicted several months.
He was born in Ohio in 1850 and had lived in Missouri since he was a small child. He leaves a wife, three sons and two daughters.
The funeral was conducted by the minister of the Ludlow Episcopal church. Interment in cemetery near that place." The Chillicothe Constitution, July 5, 1905
