UNION - Donald Herbert Robertson Sr., 69, of 105 Hidden Hill Road died June 13, 1998, in Greenville Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.

A native of Union, he was a son of the late Herbert R. and Kathleen Gault Robertson.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a Mason, a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple, Union Elk's Lodge and the S&M Investors Club. He was a graduate of Union High School and the University of South Carolina. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a retired auditor with the Interstate Commerce Commission. He was chairman of the Union Board of the South Carolina Election Commission.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Johnson Robertson; two daughters, Kim R. Ham of Union and Tracey R. Armstrong of the home; a sister, Jenny R. Bryson of Union; a brother, Eddie C. Robertson of Union; and two granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Union Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Gary Byrd.

The family is at the home.
