MARION: Ivory Doll Alexander, age 71, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 12:19 PM in the Marion General Hospital.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 1, 1945 to the late William and Mabel D. (Powell) Ross.

Ivory married Clifford Ray Alexander on July 21, 1971 in Marion and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2005 in Marion.

Ivory is survived by her stepmother; Barbara Jean Ross of Rush, KY., two sons; Aaron R. (Megan) Alexander & William R. "Bill" (Emily) Alexander both of Marion, OH., and two grandchildren; Lexi & Braiden Alexander. The lifelong homemaker was a member of the Golden Girls.

Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, 2016, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Pastor Marcellus de Olivera will conduct the funeral service in the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.

Contributions in Ivory's name may be given to the River Valley High School Music Boosters or to the River Valley High School Football Team.
