Alphonse Routt 86, for many years an employee at Carnegie Insitution died Monday at the home of his daughter Mrs. Lillian Routt Murray . Mr Routt a native of Fauquier County Virginia arrived in the Capital 50 years ago. His wife Caroline Heflin Routt who he married on 25 Dec 1872 in Fauquier County, Virginia died five years ago. Mr Routt is survived by two daughters Mrs Mattie Routt Beall and Mrs Lillian Routt Murray as well as ten grandchildren . Mr Routt was the son of the late Alphonse Routt and Martha Manuel. Service tomorrow at 1 pm at S. H Hines with internment at Fort Lincoln
