Rheba was born on November 7, 1923 in Mt. Erie to Virgil and Bessie (Burkett) Yohe. She married Warren Troyer on July 19, 1942 in Ellery and he preceded her in death in 1993.
She was also preceded by her parents, two sisters: Neva Atwood and Linda Perkins, one brother, Russell Yohe, one granddaughter, Rachel Lynch, one grandson, Dusty Seals, and one great-grandson, Mason Mayfield.
She leaves many wonderful memories for her family to recall and enjoy, and include 9 daughters: Alice Broster of West Salem, IL, Wanda (Glen) Galbraith, Cisne, IL, Betty (Eldon) Lomas, Browns, IL, Sandra (Delmar) Hahn, Claremont, IL, Karen (Cleo) Hammon, Geff, IL, Shelby Lynch, West Salem, IL, Gail (Pat) Kelly, Johnsonville, IL, Rita (Verdayne) Seals, and Jan (Don) Rockett, Fairfield, IL; 4 sons: David (Debbie) Troyer, Olney, IL, Walter (Janice) Troyer, West Salem, Dale (Teresa) Troyer, Geff, IL and Jerry (Susan) Troyer, Clay City, IL. Also surviving are 43 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her brother, Donald (Sheri) Yohe, of Michigan also survives, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rheba was a member of the Mt. Erie Pentecostal Church. She really enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and camping. She loved to go...anytime, anywhere! Mostly, Rheba stayed busy raising her 13 children.
