Donna Lee Hudson Hastings

Roxboro - Donna Lee Hudson Hastings, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, completed her earthly course on April 18, 2016 and is now in her heavenly home.

She was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1954, to Jane and Alton Hudson, who survive her.

In 1972, Donna married the love of her life, Jack Hastings. Together they raised two beautiful daughters, Karen Hastings Clayton (Lennie) and Kelley Hastings Denny (Richard), as they moved from port to port during Jack's career in the Navy.

Donna's pride and joy were her grandbabies. She dearly loved Victoria Clayton, Logan Clayton, Grace Denny, Allie Clayton, Ryan Denny, and Caroline Denny.

In addition to her husband, parents, daughters and grandchildren, Donna is survived by her two loving sisters, Carol Hudson Ormond and Jay Hudson.

Donna was a devout Christian and had an extraordinary, genuine faith in God. She was a member of the Cole Mill Road Church of Christ.

Visitation will be 7:00-8:30 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Brooks & White Funeral Home in Roxboro.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Cole Mill Road Church of Christ by the Minister Patrick Messer. Interment will follow in the Burchwood Cemetery.
