MERIDEN - Mattie D. "Baby Sis" Hudson, 77, of Meriden, departed this life May 25, 2010.

Born in Baltimore, Md., June 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Perry Buie and Ida Banks. She was employed for numerous years as a Certified Nurse's Assistant and was a member of Parker AME Zion Church in Meriden.

Ms. Hudson is survived by a son, Maurice Hudson; daughters, Cynthia, Nadine and Orstine Hudson and Beverly Hudson Inman (Rudolph); several grandchildren; great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Hudson; a daughter, Laverne Hudson; a grandson, Corey Inman; and several sisters.

A celebration of Ms. Hudson's life and legacy will be held Tuesday, June 1, at 12 p.m. at Parker AME Zion Church, 1280 N. Broad St., Meriden. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
