Billy was a man who worked hard to provide for his family. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Following his military service, he joined and later retired from the Veteran’s Administration working at VA Hospitals in St. Petersburg and Tampa as a biomedical engineer. While at the VA, he attended college after work and on weekends, graduating from Tampa College with a BA’s in Accounting and Business Administration.
Billy’s main focus was family. Humble and unassuming, he was the best husband, father, grand-father and great grandfather anyone could ask for. He was always involved in the lives of his family whether it was a birthday, sporting event or graduation; it was his priority to be present. Billy’s biggest enjoyments were seeing his family expand and prosper, traveling with his wife, bowling and going to baseball games. In retirement, you’d most likely catch him home in his recliner working on a word search puzzle while watching baseball on TV.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Gary Richard Osborne II on September 22, 2015.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Sueko Ano Osborne, son’s Gary (April), Steven and Billy Jr. (Medina), grandchildren Keith Osborne (Kristin), Rachel Osborne, Mallory Osborne, Kaile Medina (William), Magen Osborne, Kameran Osborne and Tyler Osborne and five great grandchildren.
