Steven Forrest Browning 61, of White Oak, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his residence.

A native of Glynn County, Georgia, and had been a resident of Waverly for 17 years before moving to White Oak where he has resided the past 8 years. Mr. Browning was born August 28, 1954 to the late John Henry Browning and the late Leila Lynn Browning.

He was a graduate of Glynn Academy and had been employed as Vice President with Sumter Utilities and at MEAG Power Company as a Project Manager. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and hard worker who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Browning was preceded in death by his sister Frances Browning and his brother John Browning.

Survivors include his wife Melody Turner Browning of White Oak, GA; his brothers Mike (Bonnie) Browning, Pat (Paige)
Browning, Tom (Cathy) Browning, and Cliff (Deborah) Browning all of Brunswick, GA; his sister Nancy Miller of Brunswick, GA; his faithful companion and sidekick Bubba as well as and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Friday, April 22, 2016 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a Service of Remembrance at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Jimmy Guffey officiating.

The family request memorial contributions to be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles 1692 Glynco Parkway Brunswick,
Georgia 31525 or CenterPoint Church 573 Palisade Drive Brunswick, Georgia 31523.
