Cecil (Wes) Bailey, 81, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Unicoi County and a son of the late Wilford and Pansy Jewel Bailey. Mr. Bailey retired from General Motors in Flint, MI. He was a member of Pathway Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Wes is preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Bailey; sisters, Jean Williams and Glenda Ledford.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Cecil Wesley Bailey in a funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Steve Bennett will officiate. Vocal selections will be provided by the Pathway Quartet. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until service time at Valley Funeral Home on Saturday. A committal service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
