Marion A. Pagel, age 83, of the Edina Care Center, formerly of South Minneapolis, passed away April 30, 1981. Preceded in death by husband, LuVerne, daughter Nancy Shaffer and granddaughter, Christine Pagel. Survived by sons: Paul (Denise) Jesup, IA, Edward (Darlene), Mpls, daughters, Karen (Robert) Colin, Elk River and Martha (James) Boman, Bloomington; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers: Carl Aaker, Palmdale, CA, Robert Aaker, Littleton, Colorado and Dan Aaker, Lakota, ND; sisters: Caroline Meldahl, Hatton, ND and Phyllis Gilderhus, Moorhead, MN.
She was a graduate of Northwestern Hospital School of Nursing, and retired in 1978.
Visitation Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Morris Nilsen Chapel. Prayer service to follow. The family wishes to thank the staff at Edina Care Center and the Health Span Hospice for all their care and support during our mother's illness.
