David grew up in Spanish Fork, where he graduated from Spanish Fork High School, in 1963, the inaugural year of it’s opening. He remained in and around Utah County where he raised his family and worked at Sears for 38 years. He was also a successful western artist and is well known across the country for his paintings, sculptures, and carvings. When he wasn’t working or creating you could find him working in and around the yard or at a ball game or dance review in support of his grandchildren. David was always kind and had an infectious smile.
