Elizabeth J. “Peg” Forbes, 90, of Elm Rd., Hudson, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Magnum Care of Adrian. She was born July 19, 1925, in Hudson, to the late John and Mary (Topps) Forbes.
Peg was a life-long resident of the area and worked as a machine operator at the former M&S Manufacturing for over 40 years. She enjoyed farming and was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Peg was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Russell Forbes; and three sisters, Florence Smith, Blanche Perry, and Luella Bondsteel.
A funeral service for Peg will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 1:00 p.m.at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Father Joseph Krupp presiding. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Hudson. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday afternoon, from 2-6 p.m.
