Ranie was born on 3 Mar 1917, in Carroll County, Georgia.

Mrs. Willa Dean Davis, age 91, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away April 20, 2016.
She was born November 14, 1924 in Tallapoosa to the late Arthur Lee and Stella Bates Gillard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Francis Davis, and a brother, Lloyd Gillard.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Providence Baptist Church. As well as collecting beautiful porcelain dolls; she loved her home and all her children.
She is survived by her nine children, Theresa and Bud Smith of Fruithurst, Wanda and Dennis Bentley of Ellenwood, GA, Patsy and Sam Hicks of Spartanburg, SC, Jimmy and Donna Davis of Temple, GA, Ricky and Teresa Davis of Tallapoosa, Danny and Joy Davis of Franklin, GA, Dennis Davis of Tallapoosa, Tommy and Kathy Davis of Port Wentworth, GA, and Larry and Pam Davis of Tallapoosa; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild (and one on the way); two sisters, Gwen Morris and Ella Fay Lay, both of Tallapoosa; and two brothers, Howard Gillard of Delaware and J. T. Davis of Forrest Park, GA.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM from Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Mason Bush and Rev. Curtis Pixler officiating. Music will be provided by Brant Howell.
Pallbearers serving will be DeWayne Davis, Michael Smith, Philip Davis, Shae Bentley, Brandon Bentley, Christopher Davis, Tyler Davis, Chase Davis, Corey Davis and Jay Hogue.
Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery in Cedartown, GA.
