Devoted husband and loving son, departed this world April 12, 2016 at age 50. A resident of Gambrills, Md., Timothy led a life rich in friends and contributions to all he touched. Born September 2, 1965, in Eldorado, Kansas, Tim was a graduate of Leavenworth Senior High School before joining the U.S. Navy. He served from September 1985 through September 1995 at which time he was honorably discharged. Returning to Leavenworth, Tim joined Harvest Church International led by Bishop Steve Houpe. He enjoyed singing in he choir and many other various church activities. He attended Devry University, majoring in information Technology. He also worked as a realtor for Thorne Larkin Brown – Coldwell Banker Realtors. He met and married his wife Sharon in 1997, and moved to Maryland. Tim worked with Legg Mason and Met Life, earning his annuity, life and health licenses as well as his Series 6 designation.
In 2009, Tim founded Max Score Credit, which is a credit repair and restoration company headquartered in Pikesville Maryland. His background in IT and sales served him well. Tim’s dream was to build a financial services company that empowered working men and women throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia to reach their goals thorough financial stability. He believed that taking control of one’s finances opened the door to endless possibilities. He built the company from a staff of two to its current staff of over 20 dedicated employees working from three offices: Pikesville, Silver Spring, Belair and a new location pending in Randallstown. Tim was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed music, sports and a fine cigar. Always positive and never missing an opportunity to do things for and with others, Tim was a model of squeezing the most from life. He made us all better people and leaves with a treasury of memories of his boundless energy and generosity. He is survived by his wife Sharon Craig, stepson Douglas Barclift, mother Trena Craig, grandmother Mrs. Clara Jackson, brother Troy Craig and his wife Sherry and their children, Samantha, Alexis and Joshua and an extended loving family.
When asked to describe Tim, his mother simply stated “Timmy loved God”. His friends and family remember fondly that when faced with adversity Tim would remind himself and others that “God is my source”. We know that he lives on in time eternal and all those that share faith in Jesus will see him again.
