Katherine Helen MILLER (1918 - 2016)

Katherine was born on January 25, 1918 in Lat (Park County), MT at the base of the Crazy Mountains. She was the seventh of fourteen children born to Frank and Helen Miller. She passed away on April 17, 2016 in Spokane, WA.

In 1940, at the age of 22, she left home and family to begin in the ministry, going out as Jesus instructed his first apostles to go forth. She was 28 years in Montana and Wyoming, sharing the Gospel freely along with her many co-workers. In January of 1968, she came to Washington, where she continued to freely share the Gospel for another eight years. During her later years, she resided in Spokane, living at the Cooper George; Franklin Hills Nursing Home; Little Spokane River Care Center; Emeritus Assisted Living, and Regency at Northpointe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen Miller; eight brothers: William Miller, Albert Miller, Robert Miller, George Miller, Edward Miller, Clifford Miller, Alfred Miller, and John Miller; four sisters: Grace Suko, Clara Madden, Irene Miller, and Betty Anderson.

She is survived by one brother, Charles Miller of Spokane; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Service will be on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10AM, at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Gary Paul, Brian Getz and Kelsay Yung will officiate. Graveside Service will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, Spokane, WA.
