Kevin Joseph Davidson, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

Kevin is a 1983 graduate of Country Day School where he lettered in water polo and swimming. He continued to play water polo on scholarship for Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He thereafter earned his law degree from Emory University in 1991.

Upon graduating, he worked with his father, Joe, at the law firm of Bernard & Davidson in Granite City, IL. In 2002, he and David Zevan formed The Zevan & Davidson Law Firm in St. Louis, MO. Kevin worked tirelessly on behalf of clients and enjoyed helping fellow lawyers with questions, and especially enjoyed mentoring aspiring lawyers. Kevin participated in the trial advocacy program as an adjunct professor for the past several years at Emory University. He was on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. Kevin was an accomplished appellate and trial lawyer; he participated in several landmark cases and changed the lives of many of his injured clients in Missouri and Illinois.

A dear brother of Erin Davidson Maschek and brother-in-law to Derek Maschek; treasured son of the late Joseph and Patricia Davidson; much-loved friend to many.

Kevin and Erin (nee Cowles), were married in March 2013 and Kevin became a loving bonus dad to her son Anderson Take. They lived in Warson Woods, MO.

Kevin enjoyed fine dining; good bourbon; gourmet cooking; useless trivia; fast motorcycles; occasional cigars; good books; and custom-tailored suits. He loved spending time with his family, especially his bonus son, Anderson. Kevin was a great son, but an even better role model, father, husband, brother, friend and colleague.
