Tommy L. Gibson, age 80, of Elizabeth, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, at his residence. He was born December 4, 1935, in Cash, Arkansas to Hazel L. and Alta (Hillis) Gibson.

Mr. Gibson served in the United States Army for 26 years. He served two tours in Vietnam and earned the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3.

He married Harriet Julia April 6, 1957, in Hernando, Mississippi.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife Harriet Gibson, a son Dean Gibson, a daughter Kay Gibson all of Elizabeth, Arkansas, two sisters Inez Griffin of Little Rock, Arkansas and Brenda Lane of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two brothers Jerry Gibson and Larry Gibson both of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two grandchildren Brien Gibson and Lisa White and three great grandchildren Barrett and Alex Gibson and Makaylin White.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Doyle Gibson.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Wake Cemetery of Elizabeth.
