Would you kindly include his obit. Thanx - Judy

obit May 22, 1894 "Jefferson County Journal"

John Dingman, who made his home at Nickles, and owns the Samuel Nickles property in this village died at the home of relatives on the old homestead in Boylston, Oswego county last week and was buried with his kindred in that town. He was 72 years of age and unmarried. Deceased has visited many sections of our country and was at one time a stock farmer in Illinois on quite an extensive scale. He accumulated quite an estate and died intestate. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. Samuel Nickles, Mrs Jacob Shoecraft and James Lowry, and there are nine or ten heirs who will share equally in the estate. We are informed that the demise was sudden from bilious colic from which he suffered, and he had not set his house in order as he probably intended in the disposition of his property. Deceased was a millwright by trade and a man of excellent understanding and judgment.
