Nathan worked for Ford Motor Company and retired after 28 years with many years at the Romeo Plant. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge in Florida.
He is survived by friend and companion Donna Pippin, 3 sons Nathan John Wheeler III and wife Shawn, Steve Wheeler and wife Zlenda and Ben Wheeler and wife Tracy 8 grandchildren Courtney, Jacob, Kelsey, Karley, Breanna, Benji, Brenden and Brian, a sister Ann Thompson and a brother Dave Wheeler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters Rose Belanger and Polly McCormick.
A viewing and visitation will be Friday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Carman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rich Township Cemetery.
