Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Dale Moreland, associate pastor of San Jacinto Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibson was born in Vega and had lived in Amarillo for 57 years. She was a homemaker and a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church and Baptist St. Anthony's Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Gibson, in 1989.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Gibson of Amarillo; two sons, Robert A. Gibson and Dennis Gibson, both of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
