Horace Branham, 78, of Bloomington, died Friday evening at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Aug. [sic] 2, 1911, in Burksville [sic], Ky., he was the son of David and Sally (Anderson) Branham. He was a retired salesman for the P.J. Schicks Co.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn (Jordon) Branham; one son, Wendall Branham of Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leslie Branham of Morgantown; and two sisters, Mary Kinkaid of Morgantown and Zillie Ferguson of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Newton, in 1978; twin daughters; a grandson; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Greene & Harrell Mortuary with the Rev. E.B. Butler officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until services Monday at the funeral home.
The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Monroe County chapter of the American Cancer Society and the Monroe County chapter of the American Heart Association, care of the funeral home.
