Eduardo David Moreno, age 11, of Brady, Texas passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 near Brady, Texas.
David was born October 5, 2004 in Hidalgo County Texas to Joel Eduardo Moreno & Cynthia Rene (Estrada) Moreno. He was a member of the Piedra Viva Church in Brady.
He has lived in the Brady area since 2008, moving to Brady from Donna, Texas, in the Valley. David was in the 5th grade, loved soccer, News Boys music and the Carolina Panthers. He dreamed of being an NFL player and when he grew up to be "Like my Dad". He was a good nephew and cousin.
Funeral services for David Moreno will be held at 10:00am Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Brady with Reverend Jorge Martinez and Reverend Tony Cruz officiating. Interment will follow at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday evening with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.
Pallbearers will be Joel Moreno Sr., Rene Estrada, Angel Estrada, Mitchell Estrada, Victor Cruz and Luis Basaldua.
David is survived by his paternal grandfather Joel Moreno Sr. of Donna, TX; maternal grandparents Rene & Magdalena Estrada of Donna, TX; parents Joel and Cynthia Moreno of Brady, TX; brother Joel Moreno of the home; sister Hadasa Moreno of the home; cousins Angel, Josue, Christopher, Moses, Mateo and Katelynn and his Aunts and Uncles, Angel and Martha Estrada of Brady, TX, Mitchell and Jennifer Estrada of Brady, TX and Sarai Santiago of Donna, TX.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Martha Rodriguez.
