Virgil "Jr." Snyder, 63, of Malinta, Ohio died Monday, April 18th, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic after a brief battle with Leukemia. He was born September 11, 1952, in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Virgil & Elizabeth (Drake) Snyder.
Virgil helped farm for Chuck Grater and previously worked at Franz Nursery. He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with HOPE Services, and loved Christmas.
After his mother passed away he was cared for by his sister, Sherri (Greg) Wilt of Malinta, he is also survived by siblings, Duane Snyder, Vivian (Ronnie) Parsons, Vernon Snyder, and Mike (Barb) Snyder, all of McClure, LeRoy (Kaye) Laws of Stryker, Patricia (Jim) Snyder of Defiance, and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his bother, Ronnie Laws, and sister, Katherine Sheilds.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 21 at Rodenberger Funeral Home, McClure with visitation from noon till the time of service. Interment will follow at Hockman Cemetery.
