CARROLL H. WRISLEY SR. GRAND ISLE — Carroll H. Wrisley Sr., 84, of East Shore Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at his home following a short illness. Carroll was born May 14, 1918, in Chesterfield, N.Y., the son of Clayton and Marion (Mason) Wrisley. He was employed by the Wassaic State School system, Wassaic, N.Y., where he worked in the maintenance department for 20 years, retiring in 1980. On Sept. 10, 1937, he was married to Eileen J. Abair in Addison. She predeceased him on March 31, 1998. Carroll is survived by his four sons, Carroll Wrisley Jr. of Fort Pierce, Fla., Edward Wrisley and his wife, Evelyn, of New Bern, N.C., Gordon Wrisley and his wife, Barbara, of Fort Pierce, and Joseph Wrisley of Grand Isle; 13 grandchild-ren; and 16 great-grandchild-ren; and his sister, Mertie Strong of Willsboro, N.Y. In addition to being predeceased by his wife, Eileen, he was predeceased by his daughter, Joyce Wrisley; his two brothers, Clayton Wrisley Jr. and Kermit Wrisley; and his sister, Bessie James. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m. in the Minor Funeral Home, Route 7, Milton. Burial will follow in the Grand Isle Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 11 Loomis St., Montpelier, Vt. 05602-3021. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Dec. 26, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Hom
