Charlotte was a member of Whitneyville Bible Church. At age 12 she had the assurance of salvation by asking the Lord into her heart.
Charlotte's first job at 15 years old was at Kewpees on Division, where she worked as a carhop. She later sold for Tupperware. There, she became a manager and was rewarded two cars. She also worked at General Motors for five years. For the next 30 years, Charlotte spent the remainder of her career at the Shell Gas Station in Middleville, Michigan.
Charlotte was married to Dan Proctor for ten years before he passed away. She then met Dedo Phillips and was blessed in her marriage for 32 years.
She loved her family and her two cats, raised Pomeranians, and enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She will be missed by her daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brother.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Dedo Phillips, and sister, Cleone McLain.
