On the morning of April 11, 2016 Aileen D. Walker, 60, of Germantown, passed away peacefully after a six month battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Thomas N. Walker.
Born April 16, 1955 in Amityville, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred Flynn.
Aileen is survived by her children, Theresa Walker of Germantown, MD, Lori Romans and husband Jim of Urbana, MD, and Meagan Tsakanikas and husband Andrew of Point of Rocks, MD. She is survived by six grandchildren, sisters Donna Clemen and Mary Shon and brothers Michael and Terry Flynn, along with a niece and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Mother Seton Parish, 19951 Father Hurley Blvd. in Germantown, MD, on April 22, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
