Denison David CARDNER
Birth: 9 Jul 1859 in Cuyler Hill, Cortland, New York, United States
Death: 3 Jan 1916

1. Marriage notice, in possesssion of Robert D. Reynolds, 9948 Grove Way, #D, Westminster, CO 80031;

On Christmas Eve, Mr. and Mrs. Alpheus Hendee welcomed, at their residence in Lincklaen, their many friends to the marriage of their daughter, Olivia, Mr. Denison D. Cardner of Cuyler being the happy bridegroom. Owing to the severe storm, relatives and friends from a distance were unable to attend. Some fifty, however, were present, and judging from the many beautiful and valuable presents did not come empty handed. Miss Effa A. Cardner and Mr. Oatley W. Wells, of Leonardsville, were the honored bridesmaid and groomsman. Mr. and Mrs. Denison D. Cardner received the congratulations of their parents, relatives and friends, who wished them activity, usefulness, success, joy, and peace in their new era in life. Whether their matrimonial ship is beating against the storms of adversity or riding on the placid waters of prosperity, may their hearts beat in unison is the wish that will bring to them the results of a true and noble life. The company were then summoned to the dining-room, where their appetites were duly satisfied with a sumptuous repast, which, judging from the way the viands disappeared, was a true compliment to the efforts of the hostess. After supper the company beguiled the time with conversation and laughter, any way to pass a pleasant hour. One and all returned to their homes feeling that they had passed through one of the sunny spots that dot the rugged pathway of our life. The happy couple took the 8 o'clock train Christmas morning on their wedding tour. The following is a list of names of the donors, and the gifts amounting in value to about $140: Mr. and Mrs. H.L.
