Mrs. J. F. Nelson was born in 1875 at Junction City, Kansas, and passed away August 2, 1949, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sister Nelson became a Seventh day Adventist when a child and remained faithful throughout her life. She was married to J. F. Nelson in 1897 and the couple settled in College View, Nebraska, to make their home. To this union were born seven children. Her life was spent serving others, in caring for her family, and serving by example and gentle persuasion the church and faith that she loved. Surviving her are her husband; one son, Harold Nelson of Denver, Colorado; five daughters, Mrs. L. B. Loso, Mrs. W. W. Eden, and Mrs. E. L. Kearn, all of Lincoln, Mrs. J. M. Bilinsky of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. P. J. Dillworth of Alameda, California; one sister, Mrs. Anna Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska; one brother, Dr. A. H. Larson of Los Angeles, California; and ten grandchildren.
