Ms. Suzanne Leigh Beach Phillips, age 36, of Elkin, NC passed away on Saturday April 16, 2016 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. She was born in Forsyth County on January 7, 1080 to Linda Daye and to Lewis Edward Beach. She was a Veteran of the US Navy and was a home maker. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Tony Phillips of Elkin, daughter Kaili Marie Phillips of Elkin; Abraham Landon “Bo” Phillips of Elkin; Mother Linda Daye of Elkin; father Lewis Edward Beach of Elkin; sister Stephanie Beach of Dobson; brother and sister-in-law John and Rebecca Beach of Hawaii; niece McKenzie Beach. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday April 23, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. With full Military Honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard Mount Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Phillips family. The family has request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to her children C/O their father Tony Phillips 9654 NC Hwy 268 Elkin, NC 28621.
