Born March 9, 1906 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Lige Davis and Etta Shy Gritton. She was the widow of Melbourne Healey.
She had worked as a telephone operator for South Central Bell and was a member of the Salvisa Methodist Church for more than 80 years.
Survivors include: three nephews, Robert (Rags) Gritton, Harrodsburg, Marshall Gritton, Salvisa, and Floyd Gritton, Owenton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 26, at the Spring Hill Cemetery with Frank Pennington officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Salvisa Methodist Church.
