Viola Sue Blair was first married to Clyde Kelsey before 1914, who apparently died before the 1920 United States Federal Census, as she claimed to be widowed. They had a son, Willie Thomas Kelsey, born 17 May 1914 in Alvarado, Johnson County, Texas (Texas Birth Record). She married 2nd Albert Hawkins Hillis, and he apparently adopted her son, as he went by William Thomas Hillis the rest of his life.
