JONES, Miss Erin Murray

Miss Jones was born May 20, 1917 to the late Frank and Susie Fly Jones of Davidson County and died August 18, 1998 in Nashville at the age of 81 years. She was a secretary for 37 years at Loveman Lumber and Box Company in West Nashville until her retirement in 1978. She was a graduate of Central High School and a member of the Claiborne Chapter 144 Order of the Eastern Star for 56 years.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Raymond Burnett, John Burnett, Lucy DePriest, Mike Jones, William Jones, Mary McGowan, Evie Moore, Ann Potts, Archie Potts, James Potts, Sonnie Potts and Laura Roberts; 24 great nieces and great nephews; six great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Her remains are at the Woodbine Funeral Home, HICKORY CHAPEL, 5852 Nolensville Road, where services will be conducted Friday, August 21, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. by Wendell Byrd. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Burnett, Brandon McGowan, Ray-burn McGowan Jr., Archie F. Potts, James Potts, J.T. Potts, Sonnie E. Potts and Sonnie L. Potts.
