Mr. Crittenden, a Graves County native, died at 3:05 p.m. Thursday at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Crittenden; one son, Danny Crittenden; five daughters, Peggy Gilkey, Ann King, Vickie Quinn, Joyce Quinn and Linda Hall; three sisters, Jennie Wiggins, Dorothy Poyner and Kathryn Murray; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Charles Thomas Crittenden; one daughter, Martha Crittenden; three brothers; and one sister. His parents were Daniel Crittenden and Nora Hicks Crittenden.
