He worked as a cook and as a construction worker. He loved life and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing, and music and art.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Kristin Hood; son, Andrew “Drew” Mark Hood; mother, Jean Hamilton; brothers, Don Richard Hood, Jr. and John McAllister Hood; sisters, Carol Lee Hood, Janice Hood Kriese, and Julie Hood Kavanaugh.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Don Richard Hood and sister, Kelly Hood Nye Sterner.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
