Funeral Services for Margaret Joyce Fetterman, 79, of Salado will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 19th at Harper-Talasek Funeral Chapel in Temple. Burial will follow at Holland City Cemetery with a Reception to follow at the SPJST Hall of Holland, TX.

Mrs. Fetterman died Saturday, April 16th, at her home.

She was born August 16, 1936 in Temple, Tx to Jack Corley and Milady Sladovnik Corley. She attended Academy High school and at the age of 18 she met and married William Frederick Fetterman while he was serving at Fort Hood. She was an Army wife touring with her husband to Germany, Louisiana and finally Fort Sill Oklahoma until his retirement. She started her family in 1957 and moved back to Temple in 1967. She worked at a local factory as a seamstress, and then started her own child care facility. Next she worked for Dynasty Chinese restaurant and the First Church Preschool until she retired.

Survivors include her 2 sons: William F. Fetterman Jr., Karl D. Fetterman and wife Stacey, 2 daughters: Debra Holder and husband James, Cheryl Sheard and husband Phillip, 3 sisters: Betty Tibbetts and husband Jim, June Stickney and husband Richard, Yvonne Coston, 3 brothers: Jack Corley and wife Janice, Woody Corley and wife Kaffey and Tom Corley and wife Sue, along with 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 34 years, 4 sisters and 2 brothers: Melba, Dorothy, Midaly, Opal, Sonny and Billy.



Visitation will be held Monday, April 18th at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home from 5 to 8 pm.
