David "Monkey" Moak, 64, of McComb, MS, died April 15, 2016 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be Wednesday at Jones Family Funeral Services from 9:00 until 10:00 AM with Graveside service to follow at Pike Memorial Cemetery Jones Family Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.

Mr. Moak was born on August 29, 1951 in McComb, MS. He was the son of Julian Moak and Shirley Knight Jones.

He worked at Winn Dixie for many years. He was a former paper carrier for the Enterprise Journal but most recently he sold produce at a roadside stand in Summit. He graduated from Bogue Chitto School.

Mr. Moak was preceded in death by his father, Julian Moak; his grandparents, Frank and Lorena Moak, Buddy and Edna Knight; his nephew, Kaleb Moak.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Jones of McComb; two brothers, Roger Moak and wife Brenda of Brookhaven and Bruce Moak and wife Annette of Natchez and one sister, Brenda Bass and husband Gerry of McComb.
