Robert Arthur Rees, age 91, formerly of Rosendale, died February 2, 2016. He was born on September 10, 1924 in Rosendale, the son of Daniel and Laura (Gransee) Rees. He served in the United States Army during World War II and the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 330, Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie #270, Ripon VFW, and Rosendale Lions Club member.He is survived by many nieces and nephews and his many close friends. He was preceded his parents; one brother Carlon Rees; sisters, Lorraine (Rees) Kleidon, Velma (Rees) Bird, Beverly (Rees) Hawkins.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 S. Main St, Rosendale, WI, 54974. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow the service in Rosendale Cemetery. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military graveside honors.
