Sarah graduated from Worth County High School and earned her B.A. in Speech Therapy from Auburn University, where she was on the inaugural women's basketball team of 1971. She also holds a J.D. from Birmingham School of Law. Sarah was married to Hube Dodd for 11 years until his death on April 17, 2006. She enjoyed playing bridge with her "Bridge Buddies" club and playing tennis at Vestavia Hills Country Club, where she was a founding member of the FCCL Tennis Team. She was actively involved in her Garden Club and the DAR Princess Sehoy Chapter, where she served as Treasurer. Sarah is survived by her brother, Joe Stoner (Jane) of Atlanta, GA, and sisters Rebecca Stoner Hatcher (Everett) of Birmingham, AL, and Rachel Stoner Rodgers (John) of Tampa, FL; her children by first husband Bart Hunt, Parker Hunt (Kerrie) of Denison, TX, and Rachel Hyink (Jon) of Auburn, AL; and three grandchildren.
