Jim Ed Mitchell, 58, of Fordyce, Arkansas died April 16, 2016 at his home.

He was born March 29, 1958 in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was a terminal manager at the NGL Pipeline hub at Kingsland.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Bill Mitchell.

He is survived by wife, Laura Woodson-Mitchell of Fordyce; mother, Jean Mitchell-Selman of Fordyce; two sons, Matthew Mitchell of Fordyce and John Russell Mitchell of Fordyce; three brothers, Ronnie Mitchell of Mississippi, Billy Mitchell (Victoria) of Benton, Jason Mitchell (Amber) of Fordyce; two sisters, Sonya Launius (Monte) of Fordyce, Rhonda Thompson (Jerry) of Rison.

The celebration of life service will be held at Fordyce First United Methodist Church and the graveside burial services will be held at Temperance Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
