Funeral services were held today for Mrs. Katie Loyd, a Stockton resident for 3 years, who died in a Fresno hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Loyd died Friday after suffering a heart attack while visiting in Fresno at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. P. A. Walker. Before moving to Stockton, Mrs. Loyd lived in Soquel near Santa Cruz.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Lila Conley of Stockton and Mrs. Billie Rogers of Los Angeles, and 2 sons, L.G. Loyd of Georgia and G.M. Loyd of San Leandro. Besides Mrs. Walker, 13 other grandchildren survive.
