Jack V. Meyers, II was born January 21, 1960 in Okarche, OK to Jack V. and Shirley (Jones) Meyers. He passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his home in El Reno, OK at the age of 56.

Jack was raised in Calumet and graduated from Calumet High School in 1978. He moved to California where he lived and worked as a Surveyor for Western Geophysical for many years. He moved back to El Reno in 1992, raised his family, and continued surveying in many different cities in Oklahoma. Jack loved hiking, the outdoors, shooting his rifles and guns, playing his guitar, loved music, and most of all spending time fishing with his grandchildren. He was a member of the National Rifleman’s Association.

Survivors Include: his daughter, Jessica Meyers of El Reno; step-children, Michael Harrell of Yukon, Cora Wyles and her husband Lee of El Reno, Angie Tillery of El Reno, and Toni Ellison of Yukon; his mother, Shirley Meyers of El Reno, OK; nine grandchildren, Houston, Boston, Juelian, Hayden, River, Deacon, Journey, Banx, Diezel; his siblings, Jeff Meyers and his wife Nikita, and Lee Ann Cooper and husband Mike all of Warr Acres, OK, aunt and uncle, Jo Ellen and Claudie Clyburn and many other nieces, nephews other cousins including a special cousin, Vicki Hardee as well as many other relatives and friends; and his two dogs, Pele and Bozzy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack V. Meyers, grandparents, Frank and Ruth Meyers and Cecil and L.J. Jones, brother-in-law, Johnnie Jones, and beloved cousin Alex Ray.

Graveside Services: Geary Cemetery, Tuesday, 10:30 am, April 19, 2016, Geary, OK with Rev. Charlie Blount officiating.
