Mrs. Jimmie Bryant Henry, born February 23, 1933 in LaFayette, GA passed away April 14, 2016 in Kingston.

A devoted Christian, Jimmie loved her Lord and rose daily before dawn to spend time in prayer and reading her Bible.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had worked for DuPont in Chattanooga in her earlier years.

She loved her work as a F.I.S.H. program volunteer and was proud to have provided almost 100 trips.

Jimmie appreciated art and especially loved painting oil portraits. She was a talented seamstress and antique collector.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Andrew & Effie Cranmore Bryant and her eight sisters and one brother.

Her survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, James C. Henry; daughter and son-in-law, Terri H. and Fred S. (Skip) Wheeler of Knoxville; grandchildren, Phoebe Rose Wheeler and Samuel Cole Wheeler; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements are as Follows Family and friends will meet for Graveside Services and Interment Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, Tennessee with Rev. William J. Fowler, officiating. In lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s of Tennessee, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919 Evans Mortuary is serving the Family of Mrs. Jimmie Bryant Henry
