Margaret (nee Burkett) Dickey, age 84, of Tonawanda, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Hospice Buffalo in Cheektowaga. Born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Viola (nee Rowan) Burkett.
She was the mother of Gearald (Kathy) Dickey of Tonawanda, Janine (Alan) Wakelam of Gowanda, Kenneth (Cathi) Dickey of Kingsville, Ohio, Kathleen Dickey of Tampa, Florida, Carrie Mae (Michael) Ortiz of Brant, Cynthia (Don) Hofner of Tonawanda, Rex (Christie) Dickey of Ashtabula, Ohio, Donna (Dan) Sternin of Mesa, Arizona, John (Deborah) Dickey of Concord, North Carolina, Thomas (Sandra) Dickey of Lockport, Daniel (Dana) Dickey of Tonawanda, and the late Steven (Charla) Dickey; sister of Richard (Patricia) Walsh of California and the late Donna and Gerri; and grandmother of more than 70 grandchildren. Also surviving are many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
