Faye Coppock Weaver, 91, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed from this life into the arms of her Savior on February 25, 2021. Faye was born on September 9, 1929 in Idabel, Oklahoma. Her parents were Corbet Coppock and Eneree (Overturf) Coppock.
She graduated from Central High School in 1947. She met her husband Jack Eugene Weaver and they were married on July 15, 1961 in Muskogee, OK. She began working at Phoenix Federal Savings and Loan Association in Muskogee, OK. Initially, she worked as a teller, and then worked her way up to serve as Associate Vice-President. She worked for Phoenix Federal for 41 years before she retired in 1988. Jack and Faye lived in Muskogee their entire married lives. Faye became a mother in 1965 and became a grandmother for the first time in 1997.
Faye was a lover of people. She loved to interact and connect with people. She loved working in an industry where she was able to impact people's lives daily. She loved her family and family gatherings. She was a mother who would sacrifice anything for her family. She tirelessly gave her time, love and endless support to her son as he chased his dreams. She loved Panama City Beach, Florida. Jack and Faye took their son, Jackie, to the beach every summer for his entire life. She instilled, in him, a love of adventure.
She was an example of limitless love to her family. She loved going to any sporting event that her son was interested in attending. She loved telling anyone who would listen how much she loved and was proud of her family.
She loved her savior Jesus Christ and made sure that she exposed her son to Christ his entire life. It is because of her leading that he also found a relationship with Jesus. She lived a beautiful full life and leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in her family.
In the eternal glory of Heaven she will dance with her parents, her husband, her brother James Coppock, sister Lucille and twin brother Ray Coppock.
Faye (Nanaw) is survived and her legacy will live on with her son and daughter-in-law Jack and Angie Weaver; her grandsons, Jackson, Latham, Corbet and Pearson; her granddaughter, Anna Katherine; her sisters-in-law, Helen Coppock, Marie Weaver and Jan Weaver; brother-in-law, Ron VanTuyl and their families; and her family through marriage, Bruce and Shirley Shropshire, Shane and Amy Frix as well as Ashlyn Frix and Braden Frix.
A service to celebrate Faye's life will be 11:00am, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Jackson Weaver, Latham Weaver, Corbet Weaver, Pearson Weaver, Shane Frix, and Braden Frix serving as pallbearers.
