Helen S. Dailey, 67, of Liverpool, passed away after a brief illness on April 9, 2016. Helen, daughter of the late, Kenneth and Edwina Saur, graduated from Henniger High School and Onondaga Community College. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 35 years of service. Helen loved bowling, SU sports, traveling and vacationing all her life. She spent over 20 summers camping at Brennan's Beach and 12 years wintering in Florida after retirement. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Michael Dailey; her children, Heather (Martin) Masterpole and Susan (Kenneth) Leo; brother, Kenneth Saur Jr.; half brothers, Gary and Donald Williams; and her six grandchildren, Ashley, Karleigh, Kenny and Andie Leo, and Michael and Molly Masterpole. "She was the love of my life." -- Michael Dailey Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
