Charles E. Gillar passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
He was 59.Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Old Bridge before moving to Spotswood 37 years ago.
He cherished his friends and family, loved boating, fishing and spending time with his son and grandchildren. Charlie loved helping others in need and will be missed dearly, forever.
Charles worked for more than 20 years at Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Spotswood.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Elaine Wyckoff Gillar; a son, Charlie Gillar of Spotswood; three daughters: Deborah Kohlhepp of Spotswood, Lisa White and her husband, James, and Tammy Epperly, all of North Carolina; three brothers: Robert Gillar and his wife, Martha, of Old Bridge, James Gillar of East Brunswick and Raymond "Ricky" Gillar of Milltown; three sisters, "Twin sister" Barbara Richards of Jackson, Sandy Foley and her husband, Anthony, of East Brunswick and Patricia Muncy and her husband, Jason, of Hardy, Virginia; six grandchildren, Thomas, Ashley, Louisiana, Dakota, Dallas and Daytona; one great granddaughter, Kaylee and many nieces and nephews
