Daniel Francis Dwyer, Jr., age 84, formerly of Philadelphia and Lewes, Delaware, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 8:20 AM in Keystone Villa at Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Born in Philadelphia, a son of the late Daniel F. (Sr.) and Marie (Satler) Dwyer, he was married for 64 years to Mary Ann (Grant) Dwyer.

A member of OMPH Church, he was a 1949 graduate of North Catholic High School, Philadelphia, and in the Naval Reserves 1949-1953. Dan was a yard master for Reading-Conrail Railroads and remained in close contact with his railroad co-workers. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing horseshoes.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Mary Ann, married to Thomas Bresch, Atlanta, Georgia; Patricia, married to Tim Martin, Voorhees, New Jersey; and Bernadette, married to Michael D’Alessandro, Blackwood, New Jersey; sons, Daniel F. Dwyer, III, Greenwood, Delaware; and Timothy J., marred to Helen Dwyer, Ephrata; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Four sisters predeceased him.

Viewings will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016, from 5-7 pm and Monday, April 18, 2016, from 9:30-10:30 am from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 am from Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522, with Fr. Thomas Siconolfi, CSSR, as celebrant.
