Mrs. Helen Mae Shearer Datesman Powers, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 3PM in Magnolia Park, Warner Robins. Mrs. Powers lived in Milledgeville for the past year, moving from Warner Robins where she lived for 47 years. Mrs. Powers was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins. She is predeceased by her parents, John R. and Elizabeth Corman Shearer and her husbands, John Datesman and Roy Powers.
Mrs. Powers is survived by daughters, Susan (Chuck) Hurst of Milledgeville, Karen Datesman of OR; brother, Gerald Shearer of Hershey, PA; stepchildren, Richard (Barbara) Powers of Atlanta, Jimmy (Sharon) Powers of WA, and Sister Ruth Powers; grandchildren; Chas Hurst, Laurel Happe, Stefanie Lyons, Melissa Hurst and Ashley Hurst; and 9 great grandchildren.
