Sophia A. Campbell, of Wellsboro, died in a tragic accident on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born in Wellsboro, March 2, 2004, the daughter of Jason Campbell and April Mase. Sophia was a 6th grade student at Rock L. Butler Middle School.
Sophia enjoyed playing basketball. She was full of energy and loved life. Sophia was a member of the Girl Scouts. She especially enjoyed dancing, styling her hair and putting on make-up.
Sophia loved her animals, Jasper, her dog; Jaxx, her cat and S’mores, her rabbit.
In addition to her mom and dad, Sophia is survived by two sisters, Courtney of Middlebury Center and Sasha of Lawrenceville; her brother, John of Wellsboro; maternal grandmother, Ruthie Mase, Wellsboro; maternal great-grandmother, Joyce Reed, Wellsboro; and extended family.
She had a large supportive family with many aunts and uncles. Sophia had seven cousins.
Burial will be in Wellsboro Cemetery.
